Where's Waldo? Or rather, where's Gary…

I’m always looking for cool ways to use my iPhone. Unfortunately what I’ve found isn’t exactly useful, yet still cool. Instamapper is a kewl app from the App Store of which I’m speaking of. It’s main function is allow other’s to do live tracking of your location as you move about. Some of the features consist of sharing you location via Facebook or by simply inputing html code into your blog or web page so visitors to your site can see where you are at.

Twinkle or Twitter Me…

ver the past few weeks I’ve heard and saw references to Twitter. I’m not going to explain what twitter is, of course, most people know what it is by now or you can google it. So, I recently joined up on twitter. At first my experience was a little confusing. I downloaded a twitter client for my iPhone called Twinkle. I signed up and I noticed that they’re were not a lot of people using this service. I thought to my self, hmm. Then I finally noticed the option in Twinkle to turn on Twitter. That is when the light bulb turned on. Twinkle and Twitter are two different networks. Overall, I find this method of social networking less daunting versus the likes of Facebook and Myspace. Well, Facebook wasn’t that bad but I loathed Myspace.

Your welcome to follow me on Twinkle and Twitter. Just look for my username gwcisco or click here for my profile on twitter.com.

Jirbo ^^BREAK^^

I am truly happy with Apple’s decision to allow 3rd-party apps for the iPhone. Overall, the apps available have gone above and beyond the basic features that have allowed me to become more organized and productive. Furthermore, I am satisfied with the games as well. One in particular is the game mentioned in the title of this post. The functionality and game control is smooth. Best part was, it was free!
